Hi, My Wife Is Into The End Of 39th Week

Hi, My wife is into the end of 39th week of pregnancy with 2 days to end. She has only been getting hints of labour pain since last 2 days but not getting it actually. Her reports have all been normal with only worry of her age. She is 37 years old.
Babys weight is around 3.5 kg detected a week and 2 days back.
Doctor doesn't want to take this into post mature delivery citing risks to baby due to fluid breaks, increase in babys weight, risk of meconium
We can wait one more day but after that we should either get the pain induced or opt for C- section. Please advise what to do
