Hi . Need Some Help On Continuous Use Of Novelon

Hi . Need some help on continuous use of Novelon . My wife is having problems with excessive pain & sickness during the periods. One of the doctor suggested her to continue the Novelon for the next 12 months. Now the pain is significantly reduced from the last two months. Need to know the danger of continuing tablet or should we go for any other treatment?
