Hi. On Monday I Had A Migraine Without A Headache

Hi. On Monday I had a migraine without a headache so did not think it was a migraine, but when I saw a doctor yesterday she said it probably was a migraine. Because I did not have the headache as well I did not take an Imigran tablet. The doctor told me yesterday to take one anyway as I am getting a fuzzy headache and earache on one side. I was told never to take one of these tablets after the migraine only when I felt it coming on. What is the correct thing to do
