On Sunday morning I fractured my 5th Metatarsal, minimal swelling on day one. When I awoke on Monday the swelling was worse but almost expected now this morning the swelling has increased and my toes are turning purple and the swelling has increased yet again. The doctor here called it an oblique fracture and it is mildly displaced.
Q1 Should I be concerned about the swelling?
Q2 Should the color change bother me.
Q3 Should I be looking at a surgical repair for this?
