On Sunday my husband felt s sharp bite on the inside of his leg inside his jeans. It stung like a bull ant bite. No culprit could be found. He started to feel a lack of energy and headaches within a few hours. The following day he had a circular Dark red spot about the sixe of a 50c piece and lighter pink surrounding and swelling to the size of a bread and butter plate. He was feeling quite ill so went to dr who gave antibiotics and cream.
Today the centre appears larger again deep purple and slightly ulcerated looking and surrounding swelling is dinner plate size. He has headache and no energy at all. Should he go to the hospital?
