Hi. Primary MD Has Me On Loratidine For Hyper-reactive Throat

Hi. Primary MD has me on loratidine for hyper-reactive throat (not itching) when I breathe in, which comes and goes but is very annoying. It does not help. My father had severe allergies and was on 3 inhalers until Singulair came out, it changed his life for the better. Wondering if I should mention this to my primary or ENT (I see ENT every 6 months to have ears cleaned out). No one can ever actually see anything wrong with my throat.
