Hi, Recently I Had Blurred Vision And Went To See

Hi,
Recently I had blurred vision and went to see an eye doctor, He probably diagnosed it to having Carotid blockage issue since the dye he injected took 24 sec to reach the eye than 10 sec. I have approached my primary physican and he recommended ultrasound and was performed last week. I want to know if Carotid Endarterectomy needs to be done how risky it is. I read through series of posting on the internet and it seems scar. Please let me know how safe it is to go through this procedure and my options. it would be of great help.
