Hi. Recently I Have Washed My Face With An Exfoliater

Hi. Recently i have washed my face with an exfoliater and then put a salt water mixture on my face because i heard it cures pimples. I left that on my face for about 10 minuets then wiped it off and applied ice for about five minuets. Also before i washed my face i put ice on it for about 3 minuets. I woke up this morning to red, ittch irrated skin around checks and want it to go away, please let me know what happened or anything you can tell me to help cure my skin.
