Hi. Recovery From Open Colectomy. 8 Days Later I Still

Hi. Recovery from open colectomy. 8 days later I still have post operative pain. Which pain medication can I take for the pain? I dont seem to agree with the Synaleve prescribed by the surgeon. I have no other symptoms. I was using Panado but im concerned about constipation.
