Hi, Since The Past Year Or So, At The Time

Hi,

Since the past year or so, at the time of menstruation, I get these swellings/ lumps on either of my armpits. Sometimes they turn into pus boils, and other times they just continue to grow under the skin and disappear on their own in 4-5 days. They are often painful to the point that I find it difficult to put my hand down. The skin around them becomes really hot and red.

What could be the case of this? Hormonal changes or some inflammation of lymph nodes? How do I prevent these from recurring?
