Hi. Sore Spot On Tip Pf Tongue (my Right Side.)

Hi. Sore spot on tip pf tongue (my right side.) I'm a 51-yr-old woman, non-smoker, fit, health conscious. I think I burned it, and that the wire holding my four lower front teeth in place is keeping it from healing. What to do? It's been going on 2 weeks now.
