Hi: Yesterday, I Did Some Work In The Yard. Although

Hi: Yesterday, I did some work in the yard. Although it was physical work it did require me to sit for long periods of time through the day. Later that evening my top left foot up to middle of front chin had become numb. This numbness continues 24 hours later, my foot feels cold and I have no sensation in the same area. Although, the sensation has not spread any further it does feels like my foot is asleep. I also have type 2 diabetes (unmanaged). Do you have any thoughts about what this may be?
