Hi. Yesterday I was out shopping with my mom and was completely fine until I got in the back of the store and was looking at bed spreads . I walked over a few aisles to find matching sheets and all a sudden I felt like someone was talking my picture constantly (flashing) and my vision got slightly blurry and I saw zig zag lines in my left eye. But both eyes were effected. I had to leave the store it was so bad and have never experienced something like that before. The symptoms went down after i left the store, but about an hour later I got a headache in my forehead. Now the strange part is my mom was with me and she experienced the same symptoms just not as bad as me. Now they do have fluroscent lighting and it is very bad in the store especially where we were. I called my Optometrist and she said that it is an Ocular Migraine and I do not have a history of migraines, neither does my mom. Could it be just a bad reaction to lighting? I mean it happened to me and my mom or did we both suffer a migraine? Very confusing. Also had a CTA Angiogram on my head and neck 2 weeks ago for sinus issues and tinnutis and everything came back fine so it's not vessel related I wouldn't think. I was also asked recently if I have diabetes or hypertension from another online doctor from another sight I spoke with, got not answer still, but I do not have any blood pressure issues or diabetes.Thank you.
