Hi, Yesterday Morning I Woke Up With An Extremely Sore

Yesterday morning I woke up with an extremely sore throat. I’ve had a fever ever since and a runny nose. A few weeks back I had Pharyngitis, but that cleared up. Now the very back on my tongue is swollen and I can see white and black puss.
I also have no tonsils, these were taken out in 2014.
The earliest I can see my Doctor is Tuesday, should I be more concerned or can it wait until I can see my Doctor?
