Hi, About 2 Months Ago I Began Seeing A Halo

Hi,
about 2 months ago I began seeing a halo around the moon & lights at night, the sun etc ( although I don't really look at the sun! )
I had an eye exam last November & was cleared for macular degeneration & glaucoma.
I have since upgraded my glasses lense strength.
I am only 53 and do not have diabetes, high blood pressure or take steroids etc....although I've been out in the sun years ago without sunglasses.
Could this be a cataract & should I see an optomertrist or doctor please?
