Hi am a 23 year old female. I was recently told by my doctors that I have a high platelet count over 1000, but it keeps changing. I also had a low blood count of 6.8 and began taking iron tablets and now it's 10.8. The platelets count keeps changing, I don't know what to believe again. What can cause your platelets count to be so high?
