Hi Am Am Experiencing An Ongoing Itch On Inner Thigh

Hi am am experiencing an ongoing itch on inner thigh and like under my scrotum... It's not constant but it is daily and I have tried anti fungal cream to try and get rid of it. When I take a shower there area burns a little bit but then I feel relief and sometimes the itches goes away. but then it will come back again, I haven't been to doctor yet. Any idea what this could be and can I take care of it myself...I'm starting to think I just need an prescribed anti fungal cream but not sure.
