Hi Am Having Irregular Periods Since From 2 Months My

Hi am having irregular periods since from 2 months my doc has prescribed me to take regestrone sandoz 5mg for 5 days twice per day she told that i will get period on 3rd day but I still dint get period am having medicines for 2 more days...whether this medicine is used to get periods r to delay periods?
