Hi, At First I Thought I Might Have Some Form

Hi, at first I thought I might have some form of toe nail fungus, so I bought & used fungus drops & athlete cream. Instead, it turned my left large toe brittle, then yellowish now it is turning black. I clip & clean every 2 weeks & last night removed some of the black/brown dirt like from underneath the nail. The fungus drops & athlete cream did not help but seemed to make it worse. What can I do now? The doctor is a little out of my financial pocket. Thankyou.
