I had the skyla iud for about a year and didn’t like it because of the hormones! I recently changed to the copper iud and the night before the change me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex. I know sperm can live for 5 or 6 days and I was worried that when she was taking out the iud that I could have gotten pregnant? It has been 6 weeks and I have not started a regular period yet
