Hi, Can You Tear A Miniscus At The Back Of

Hi, can you tear a miniscus at the back of your knee? I am a trail runner and I think I put in too many miles this bummer. The back of my began to hurt. I have given it rest, and tried to return to running, but my knee still hurts to bend it and cannot bear the impact. Any suggestions?
