Hi Doctor, 2 Weeks Back I Went To A Dentist

Hi doctor,

2 weeks back i went to a dentist becuase of my pain on my last tooth which the dentist described as my wisdom tooth on the right bottom part which needed to be removed. Last week, i have noticed difficulty in swallowing my food, drinking watet and only to find out that my right tonsil is swollen. I have been taking an antibiotic for almost a week now and yet i can still feel the pain and looks like the antibiotic is not working. Is it because of my wisdom tooth thats why i have a swollen tonsil? I have a scheduled tooth surgery tomorrow for my wisdom tooth and i was afraid that i might moved it till next week because of my acute tonsillitis. Please advise if these two are related to each other and if i will proceed on my tooth surgery tomorrow. Many thanks.
