Hi Doctor, I Have Been On The Contraceptive Pill For

Hi doctor, I have been on the contraceptive pill for five years in January I stopped using it and I have been trying for a baby but no luck. I did not get my periods since January then all of the sudden in June I had my periods I used a home pregnancy test still no results. How long does the pill take to get out of my system ? And di I need to consult a doctor because I am worried?
