Hi Doctor, My 20months Old Toddler Poked His Ears With

Hi doctor,
My 20months old toddler poked his ears with an earbud yesterday, he cried for 5 mins and then he was fine. Today I saw something in his ears while making him sleep, and it was blood which was clotted and when we checked inside it looked that his ears bleeded due to that. He is perfectly normal and did all the routine works.
But we are a bit concerned about this, as to what could have happened...
Please suggest what to do... Is it normal..?
