Hi Doctor, My Ten Month Old Baby Boy Has Had
Hi doctor,
My ten month old baby boy has had cold (running nose, watering eyes) for the past 4 days. Fever started two days back. At first it was mild then it shot up. I gave him medomol (paracetamol) 1ml per dose, every 4 hours or when the fever showed. It helped reduce the fever but it would always come back. Last two nights he has woken up shivering with fever around 102-103. I tried ibugesic plus after consulting my paed. Nt much difference as fever keeps coming back with a vengeance. How do I handle the fever when it goes high? Just sponging with lukewarm water n paracetamol? Is my dose correct?
