Hi Doctor.hot Oil Splattered In And Around My Right Eye

Hi doctor.hot oil splattered in and around my right eye 3 days back.got burning sensation for 1 hr and reduced afterwards.till today I don't have any symptoms.for clarification I consulted doctor today.using some drops he told that damage has occurred on pupil area.I saw myself that damage as green spot.he gave injection for regeneration n said it may take2 or 3 appointments for complete treatment. What exactly that damage is?what is and duration of treatment?plz
