Hi doctor,just wanted to know if stroke patients who are over 80yrs of age should be given tablets such as-1)Olimet
2)Copilet
3)Aztor-40
4)Congnisules
5)Larpose
Iam asking for your opinion as both my parents are stroke patients,and my dad is being given the above medicines and my mother is being given olimet.I would really appreciate it if u can please advice wether these tabs that they r being given are correct for them or not as they always seem like they are drugged and in a trance.From what I know the above mentioned is given to people who are schizophrenic or have a mental disorder.Both my parents have suffered multiple strokes but have no other mental disorder,and are 86yrs and 84yrs old.thanking you for ur time and kind advice.Also both my parents have no abnormal behaviour.
