Hi, does VB7 increase hair thickness?

I am 21 years old, my father has a full head of hair, however i feel like mine has been thinning for a little while now. it used to itch a lot before, my dermatologist said I had dandruff and he could see that my hair was just entering the phase, minorly towards my hair thinning. So he recommended I take a shampoo for it to use twice a week, and a SebaMed shampoo for everyday use. I have consulted 2 doctors, the first who claimed there was no problem and this one has told me this. I am afraid to just take the VB7, so wanted to ask of its effectiveness, if i should take it at all?
