Hi! For A While Now (im Talking Years) I Have

Hi! for a while now (im talking years) I have had weird discharge coming from my belly button at random intervals, sometimes ive noticed dry, crusty pus like discharge when ive woken up (if ive not noticed it in time to remove it) to try and keep it clean, and to work against the odour that the discharge brings, Ive been trying to keep it clean. Ive now lost a cotton bud in there, and i cant get it out, and sadly i believe it's actually the 2nd one ive lost there. what should i do?
