Hi For Several Months Now I Have Really Bad Heart

Hi for several months now I have really bad heart burn and acid reflux but for the past month I am having watery bowel movements 7-10 a day un controllable even in my sleep, went to hospital they said it was just a stomach virus, but it has been going on to long what could it possibly be and what type of specialist should I go see.
