Hi, For The Past Few Days Not My Throat Has

Hi, for the past few days not my throat has been really dry no matter how much water I drink my throat still feels dry and the previous few days it felt like there was a lump in my throat that feeling has gone away but now my throat is constantly dry and its driving me nut what can I do to stop this and what could be the reason my throat is so dry?
