Hi How Are You, I Bit The Side Of My

Hi how are you, I bit the side of my tongue badly in my sleep last week. It did not bleed. It seems to have grown back but the skin is white and feels weird and because I know it's there and feels weird like when u feel u have a blister on the side of your tongue I keep going at it. When will it go away and go back to normal , thank you
