Hi How Are You. I Have Had Chronic Neck Pain

Hi how are you. I have had chronic neck pain for over four weeks now. I went to see my gp and he said it happens and to just take pain relief and warm compress. Unfortunately this is not helping. When I lower my head the back of my neck hurts across the top of the spinal cord where the bone is. The pain is mainly to the right hand side of my neck. What can I do. I am 58 years old. Am on Lipitor 40 mg and otherwise in good health. Thanks Marie.
