Hi I Am 28 Years Old And I Was Marrired

Hi i am 28 years old and i was marrired in march 2016 and trying to conceive since then. I had periods delay by 2 or 3 days every month after marriage. But in month of july my periods got delay by 10 days( 18 july was due date). I took 2 hpc and they were negative.on 10th day i had blood test which was also neg. My doc advised me to take duphaston 1 tablet a day for 5 days. I took it on 28 july but got periods very next day. Now after my follicile study she said every thing is normal and gave me choromion 5000 iu injection on 16 day of cycle and asked me to b wid my husband...since 19 day she prescribed to take duphaston 2 tb a day for 10 days...m having a concern wether it is safe to take this medicine as i searched on net n found dat its for iregular periods...will it help me to conceive?
