Hi I Am A 19year Old Female And I Woke

Hi i am a 19year old female and i woke up during the middle of d night with a cramp like/stabbing pain in the left side of my chest. The pain didnt last very long and i had no shorthness of breath. The pain eased once i sat up in bed. Ive experienced thispain couple times before now and the doctor that i went to see said it was due to hormones she this correct or should i be worried if this pain will come back. Sorry i thought this was free! Ive decided togo to doctors tanx anyway
