Hi I Am An Administrator For An Assisted Living Facility.

Hi i am an administrator for an assisted living facility. Not a license nurse. I have a resident with dementia who has extreme aniexty and a fall risk. She cant stop moving (walking) for sometimes up to and beyond 16 hours a day. What medication should we look into for helping her relax? She hardly sleeps and just wants to walk . We cannot have restraints in our facility. The family had her on ativan but she was very out of it.The last facility was giving it to her as a prn but abused the prn usage. Now they are afraid to use it again. What are your thoughts on ativan cream?
