Hi, I Had A Car Accident Over Two Years Ago

Hi, i had a car accident over two years ago and smashed my shins against the dashboard they swelled up and never went down. The doctor said it would go down by itself but it hasn't. I went back and was told the same thing. My GP has given the wrong diagnosis to a few people so I don't trust them. Can you help please?
