Hi, I Had A Mastoidectomy With Tympanoplasty Surgery Because A

Hi, i had a mastoidectomy with tympanoplasty surgery because a had a cholesteotoma. After 3 weeks my doctor replace a packing inside my ear with a new packing. But the problem is that it's really tight and i start hearing popping sounds every time i swallow. I think my doctor put too much pressure to my new packing. Is it normal?
