Hi I Had A Wisdom Tooth Extraction On Tuesday, I

Hi i had a wisdom tooth extraction on tuesday, i have had stiches put it. my mouth is still very sore, and i have been trying to brush the area lightly. Past 2 days i've noticed a yellow/white deposit in the area of the sutures, between the tissue. I sometimes feel like there is blood or an iodine type exudate in my mouth..
Can this be an infection?
