Hi, I Had My Tongue Pierced About 4 Weeks And

Hi, i had my tongue pierced about 4 weeks and 4 days ago and it went great until now. I have swollen glands and it is rough to swallow. The swelling of the glands has lasted 4 days. The first two i was slightly delerius. The last 2 i have felt better but the swelling has not gone down at all. The last night i was suffering from chills
, stomach aches and a rediculous amount of sweat. This morning though i feel fine but the glands are still swollen and it is still hard to swallow. Should i take out the tongue ring?
