Hi, I Had Recently Had Tests Done And I Have

Hi, i had recently had tests done and I have been diagnosed with Trichomoniasis. I have taken the medication to cure it. I had recently used a sex toy and forgot that I have used it before, is it possible to have gotten it again? I used it in the 7 days that I am not supposed to have sex from taking the medication. I'm just curious if I should go back to the doctors and get the medication again?
