Hi, I Have A Indent/squishy Lump In My Shin About

Hi, i have a indent/squishy lump in my shin about 6-8 inch' above my ankle, i went to my doctor about it and he didnt really check the lump and just assumed it was a varicus vain but its on both of my legs in near enough the same place, the lumps dont hurt but sometimes aches (sort of a growing pain ache). Ive done some research and i came across some scary stuff on what it could be, i would really respect a professional opinion on what they could be!
