Hi I Have A Problem With My Bottom Left Wisdom

Hi i have a problem with my bottom left wisdom tooth. It's got a sharp edge that digs into my cheek and sometimes feels sore. There is a flap of skin over it. I visit my dentist regularly but he simply cleans behind it.I'm very worried as the skin in my cheek feels puckered around the tooth.
