Hi! I Have A Root Canal With A Post In

Hi! i have a root canal with a post in my tooth. I haven’t received a crown yet because I currently have no insurance. I think my tooth has been like this for at least a years now. I was eating yesterday and a piece of my tooth(root canal) cracked off. Another part of my tooth is loose and I can touch the post with my tongue. The post is currently showing. I don’t want this tooth extracted but I need to know if it could be possibly saved ? :(
