Hi I Have A Surgery To Remove My Big Bone

Hi i have a surgery to remove my big bone from my big toe's joint to remove the extra that grew( i forgot the name) so i wonder if a black line in the middle of my toe is related to? Since after surgery i did not remove the nails they put to heal. Please let me know.
