Hi, I Have Extreme Pain In My Left Thigh. I

Hi, i have extreme pain in my left thigh. I went to doctors and was checked for a blood clot. The results were negative. Also had xrays and nothing was broken. Was given pain pills. The pain pills take some of the edge off but the pain is still strong. There is no swelling or rash. Before I left the doctors said if a rash appears it might be shingles. This is day 5 and the pain is the same and there is some tingling in the area. Could I have shingles with no rash or could it be something else?
