Hi I Have Very Bad Knee Joint Pain.I Have Been

Hi i have very bad knee joint pain.I have been taking 2 cocodamol every morning to get me through work,.But find now it is not working so well,If i take 2 tramadol i find it makes me very sleepy which is not good at work.
Could i take 1 tramadol and 1 parecetemol or 1 tramadol and 1 cocodamol....thank you
