Hi I M A Mother Of A 4 Month Old

Hi i m a mother of a 4 month old baby. According to my physician my baby has craddle cap. He prescribed me the triben-b lotion. My question is : Is that needed?? Everyone arround says that craddle cap is common and haaoens to every child. It will cure automatically if i put good oil in her head which contrast to what the doc said. The doc here asked us to stop oiling. I m confused whom should i listen to??
