Hi, I Recently Fot My Ears Pierced About 5 Weeks

Hi, i recently fot my ears pierced about 5 weeks ago. I went to clean my ear just now and it was bleeding im not sure if it was caused by me hitting it by accident or if it is the start of an infection. My mom told me to put 91% isopropyl alcohol on it will that help im not sure what to do. My ear also has felt swelled the last few days.
