Hi I Somehow Hit My Wrist While Installing My Son's

Hi i somehow hit my wrist while installing my son's carseat. I did not notice right away but my wrist started hurting and felt bruised when i looked down at it my blood vessel was very large and swollen. I think i busted my blood vessel on the inside of my wrist.no skin is broken. I did a cold compress on it and now have it wrapped.my hand is staying cold but the color looks good and im not experiencing tingling. Is there anything else i should be doing?
